On Friday, September 7, volunteers from Moscow came to the Prioksko-Terrasny reserve, employees of Smith-nephew, a large international corporation engaged in the production of medical equipment, dressings and personal care products.12 employees of the company decided to spend this sunny warm day in the open air with the benefit for the reserve. At the central central manor of the reserve, volunteers cut a lot of overgrown ornamental shrubs. Using a trimmer, donated by volunteers from the innovative educational center “Zemlyane”, weed was cut out.

In the labor landing there were also small assistants. The youngest volunteer helped his father to cut the bushes, and in the breaks he collected a few handfuls of ripe acorns, which turned into an excellent treat for bison.

After the work, the hosts and guests gathered for a spiritual tea-drinking, which invariably ends all volunteer raids. After resting for an interesting conversation, the guests went on an excursion to the Central Bison Nursery.

Employees of the Prioksko-Terrasniy Zapovednik are always very grateful to their volunteers. And they hope that all volunteers, who have given their skills and time to the reserve, leave with a good mood and no less expensive sense of belonging in the noble cause of nature protection!
