December 4, 2017 9 bison from the Central Bison nursery were transported to the State Biosphere Reserve “Bryansk Forest”.

The long-awaited and exciting day has come – a group of young bison began their journey into the forests of Bryansk. Let’s remind – 12 bison were destined for transportation to the Bryansk forest – 3 males and 9 females. However, one of our beauties – a female named Mutakha over the past months has become a happy mother. She remains with the baby in the Central Bison nursery.

The weather on the day of the trip was unfortunately unfavorable – the whole day it was wet snow, passing in the rain. It was difficult for both breeders and bison. Two young females never managed to persuade them to enter cells intended for transportation. Our employees tried to persuade them and offered various delicacies – but without result.

The winter days are short, the path was far away, it was impossible to risk. Two stubborn beauties were decided to leave in their own nursery. Their fate will be decided later, and while they will spend the winter at home and help mom – Mutaha raise a baby as a nanny.
