The staff of the Prioksko-Terrasny State Natural Reserve congratulates all people who have chosen the protection and study of nature as their profession. Thanks to them, natural territories and biological diversity are preserved in their original form in Russia.

Although the Day of Natural Reserves Workers is an unofficial professional holiday, it is celebrated in Russia for the 17th time! The decision to establish this holiday was made in October 1999, and soon it was supposed to become official, but this did not happen. Anyway, a few years later the holiday was not forgotten.

In the modern world, humanity consumes more and more natural resources and the task of protected areas and the people working for them is to save landscapes and all their inhabitants from destruction.
