On September 21 Moscow Zoo Auditorium hosted one of popular lectures of our specialists.
The Prioksko-Terrasny Zapovednik was invited to make a presentation and a lecture about the work of the reserve and its nature in the Open Auditorium. A series of such lectures was organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the specially protected areas system of Russia and the Year of Ecology.
We were happy to be invited and to speak about the history of the Prioksko-Terrasny Zapovednik creation, about local animals and plants, about the Main Wisent Breeding Center and its dwellers. Our specialists gathered the most interesting facts and photos about the reserve. The lecture called The Prioksko-Terrasny Zapovednik and Its Inhabitants gathered both regular visitors of the Open Auditorium and people, who were interested specifically in our reserve activities. The presentation was a success; people were very engaged and had questions.
We hope that this presentation will make the number of our curious guests and volunteers higher and the reserve will acquire new loyal friends!

Note: Twice a month on Thursdays at 19:30 the Open Auditorium near the Main Entrance of Moscow Zoo organizes lectures of scientists, ecologists and science writers and popularizers. They are free of charge, but registration beforehand is necessary.
