Dear colleagues, veterans of the industry!

Dear friends!
On behalf of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on your professional holiday!
I want to express my deep gratitude for the joint work to improve the management system in the field of environmental protection. Ecology today is the priority of national policy. In the Address to the Federal Assembly and the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on the strategic tasks of development for the period up to 2024, a comprehensive program of environmental development is envisaged. We are striving to improve the quality of the world around us, to preserve and restore biodiversity, the unique natural resources of Russia.
And today, forming the national project “Ecology”, we count not only on our strengths, but also on the support of public organizations and citizens, realizing that only through joint efforts can we make a “leap” in the ecological development of our country.
The main value that we are obliged to preserve and multiply is the health of our children and the longevity of millions of Russians.
I wholeheartedly congratulate the International Environment Day and Ecologist Day not only on the staff of environmental organizations, not only the specialists of enterprises, but also all citizens of our country, who are ready to show their active position to protect water and air from pollution, to preserve Russian forests, biological and landscape diversity. To do everything for the healthy and happy future of our country.
I am sure that the International Environment Day is an occasion for each of us to reflect on our personal responsibility for the state of the environment and the occasion to commemorate those who have made conservation of nature a matter of their life.
