MAB Report
The regular report on the activities of the Prioksko-Terrasny Biosphere Reserve was presented to the Russian Committee of MAB in August, and then in the middle of September sent for consideration to the Secretariat of the UNESCO program “Man and Biosphere” (MAB program) in Paris.

Counting the Rodents

The Knights of Science
The third Russian Biotournament starts in the science city of Puschino on September 23 as a team competition of biology students. The staff of the Prioksko-Terrasny Reserve took an active part in creating the complex competition tasks and has been included in the jury as well.

Muzhichok has left for warmer lands
Along with the autumn, came the time of bisons resettlement in places where they are kept in their natural habitats. The young bison Muzhichok was the first to head towards warmer lands, he was sent to the Rostov Zoo.

Bialowiezians Visit Us
